The Worst
I will never go back to Sofi for a concert, even though I was looking forward to this show since 2026. The sound at Sofi is the absolute worst unless you are on floor level, echoing like crazy and making it impossible to hear anything they were saying. I couldn't tell the songs till the chorus due to the distortion, and had no idea what Vince Neil was saying. I was on the third level and felt bad for those who were higher.
Danny Elfman's set was crazy and all over the place, with the best description being a train on fire that left the track and Tommy was driving. There were long breaks between songs, and Vince Neil seemed done after the first song. Compared to Jon Jett, Poison, and Def Leppard, they were a mess. Def Leppard was the best!
Getting an Uber out of this venue was an absolute nightmare, especially as a solo chick, with the rideshare all the way over at the forum where you had to walk through parking lots—a shady place to wait. Stick to the Bowl or the Greek instead, or even the forum, which is better than Sofi and at least air-conditioned.
